Abbey House opened in January 2018 and provides specialist support to 8 people with Prader Willi Syndrome and associate needs between the ages of 18 and 65 years.
Abbey House is located a short walk from Netley Abbey, Victoria Country Park and the shore line just down the road. There is a large private garden which is accessible to everyone we support. All bedrooms are single occupancy with ensuite facilities and decorated to the individuals choice and taste. It has been specifically designed to support people in a positive, least restrictive environment while meeting people’s complex needs. This includes oversight from dieticians and other professional input. Each person receives an individual dietary plan to meet their specific and unique requirements alongside personalised schedules that reflect their interests.
Staff are highly skilled and trained to support the unique needs of each person living at Abbey House. All are committed to providing an atmosphere that encourages openness, dignity and that empowers the people living at Abbey House to maximize their potential.
