Brendon Lodge opened in April 2006 and provides specialist support for nine people with learning and physical disabilities between the ages of 18 and 65 years.
Brendon Lodge consists of an attractive period main house that has been adapted to meet the needs of people who use wheelchairs and have other mobility needs. A lift is available for people to access the first floor. All rooms are single occupancy and have ensuite facilities. There is a separate three bedroom bungalow in the grounds of Brendon Lodge providing residential care for people to further develop skills to live as independently as possible. There are good public transport links within a short walk.
People are supported by highly trained and skilled staff who are committed to providing person centered, outcomes based approaches for each person. Staff are trained to support people with their unique and often complex health needs and are able to provide high quality care. Staff encourage each person to be valued members of the local community.
