Here are just a few of our recent testimonials from parents of the people we support!
Testimonial 1:
“Dolphin Homes has grown as a Company since my son was given a residential placement back in 2010. However, it has not lost the family feel because of becoming a larger organisation. Each of the homes have their own individuality in meeting the needs of the residents in their care.
Dolphin staff are dedicated in supporting the wellbeing of our loved ones. Staff encourage our loved ones by promoting independence skills with personal care and around the home – no matter how small it is an achievement. For my son, I have felt proud of what he’s able to do. It’s gone beyond my own expectations and that’s all due to the encouragement of staff. A couple of examples; he can load his dirty laundry into the washing machine and uses a peddle bin appropriately.
Staff provide a positive and welcoming environment. The communal areas are clean and pleasantly decorated. Staff promote individuality with bedrooms, which are decorated with ideas chosen by our loves ones and their families.
Dolphin staff together with our loved ones come up with a wealth of ideas for in-house and community activities. Our loved ones are encouraged to participate in the choosing of menus and help with their own shopping.
There are members of staff who go that bit beyond in providing support, ideas etc. It does not have to be anything much but little things can go along way. When my son was severely unwell and had a long stay in hospital, staff provided exceptional support. My son could not be left alone and as a single parent, staff helped in sitting with him, in order I could have a break. My son was also on an exercise programme to raise his oxygen levels. Dolphin staff came up with fun ideas for him in turning his exercises into a game.
Dolphin Homes provide regular training for all their staff to ensure the best possible care is provided to our loved ones. Recently, Dolphin Homes have set up a “Friends of Dolphin Homes” to promote parent involvement. So together we can all work together in providing a positive environment and the best possible outcome for our loved ones.”

Testimonial 2:
“Our daughter has been living at Seabreeze (dolphin homes) for 11 years.
She is so happy living there and puts a thumb up to say she’s happy to be back home after a day out with us.
In the last week, our daughter has been going through some emotional issues and I can’t praise or thank enough the manager and the deputy manager, who has cared for her for the whole time she has lived at Seabreeze and all the caring wonderful day/night staff.
They have all given our family peace of mind that our daughter is in good, caring, compassionate hands.
It is clear to see that all the staff have the guys who live at Seabreeze their best interest at heart making Seabreeze a happy, fun and safe environment to live in.”

Testimonial 3:
“I am extremely pleased and happy with the efficient, caring, and knowledgeable support workers employed at Broadbridge Lodge. Our sons keyworkers and the regular staff who support him understand his needs and ensure that he receives the best possible care. He in turn trusts them and will seek them out when he needs help. They are encouraging whilst giving my son time to process requests when the initial answer is no. In the two years that he has lived at Broadbridge he has become more independent and is given the space to do the things he can do independently such as his laundry whilst staff are there to support with the things he struggles with such as cleaning the bathroom. It did take around 6 months to build this trust up but they perservered and didn’t give up at the first hurdle. We expected this as it followed a pattern from previous new situations.
I highly recommend Dolphin Homes to anyone looking for a Supported Living service for their loved one with Autism. They have a wealth of knowledge and experience and seem to genuinely care about the people they support.”
